Sea Gate Sea Gate is a private gated community located at the southwestern tip of Brooklyn. It features beautiful beaches, stunning ocean views, and a peaceful, exclusive atmosphere.
Sheepshead Bay Sheepshead Bay is a neighborhood in Brooklyn known for its waterfront location, marina, and seafood restaurants. It has a vibrant community with a mix of residential and commercial spaces.
South Slope Located between Sunset Park and Park Slope, South Slope is filled with beautiful prewar buildings, brownstones, new condos, and amazing restaurants. This cozy and serene neighborhood is filled with families and young professionals. If you’re in the mood to try a fried burger (yes, fried), check out Korzo. Or enjoy some fresh seafood rolls and the outdoor patio space at Sea Witch. Grab a drink and play a game at bocce ball at Greenwood Park, a large former gas station house.
Sunset Park Sunset Park is a diverse neighborhood that’s quickly becoming more popular. Worth noting is that the trek to Manhattan from this neighborhood does take some time via the D/R/N trains. However, incomparable is it’s unique vantage point at the top of a hill, offering sweeping views of the water, Manhattan skyline, and the Statue of Liberty twinkling torch. At the heart of Sunset Park is Brooklyn’s Chinatown, Industry City’s Food Hall, Smorgasburg, Brooklyn Flea, and Mister Sunday. Rich in a melting pot of budget-friendly restaurants, this is a foodie’s ever-growing paradise.
Vinegar Hill If you love Dumbo but hate tourism, Vinegar Hill is for you! Just steps from Dumbo, Vinegar Hill is a quiet neighborhood attracting many families and young professionals. It got its name from the Battle of Vinegar Hill in Ireland in 1798. Although it is a waterfront neighborhood, there is no actual access to the water due yo Con Ed's substation occupying the East River shoreline. That all being said, it is a great neighborhood for those who want to live near areas like Dumbo but want to be away from the tourist traps.
Williamsburg Who needs Manhattan? Williamsburg has everything you can possibly want - even an Apple Store. If you do need Manhattan, it's only a few short stops away on the L or J train. There's even a ferry! It’s got incredible views, great music venues like the Knitting Factory and The Music Hall of Williamsburg, and some of the best coffee shops in the world.
Windsor Terrace Windsor Terrace is a charming residential neighborhood in Brooklyn known for its tree-lined streets, historic brownstones, and proximity to Prospect Park. It offers a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere with a mix of local businesses and restaurants.
