Home to notable DJ Funkmaster Flex and Jamaican music producer Lloyd Barns, Wakefield is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the Bronx. It is historically known for having a larger Jamaicans and Dominicans population than any other neighborhood in America. The northernmost neighborhood in New York City, Wakefield is lined with trees often giving off a very suburban feel.
